How To Cope With Pain

If you have a chronic illness (or even if you live in pain on the daily) even if it isn't endometriosis you know that pain can be hard to handle especially when it is recurring and nothing seems to help so here is a list of five ways to cope with endometriosis pain, leave in the comments what you use to deal with your pain. now I want to start by saying pain killers but that is a lie, well for me at least. my pain killers don't work sadly and all they do is put me to sleep which I guess can be a good thing because I get very little sleep when I am in pain. tens machine:   A transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation ( TENS )  unit  is a device that sends small electrical currents to targeted body parts. the endometriosis diet (also known as the endo diet) is a diet that endometriosis sufferers sometimes go on in hopes of managing there pain and symptoms. while the endo diet didn't work for me i have heard many success stories from women who tried it. in this post, i will be going over what the actual diet is and more tips like that to try and help you. it is with giving it a try because while not everything will work for you you may notice some things that work better than others and the worst that will happen is you go off it because it didn't work like me. foods that may worsen your symptoms are: foods that are high in trans fat: so that things like crackers, cookies, cakes, frozen pies, and other baked goods, coffee creamer and microwave popcorn. red meat gluten high FODMAP: so things like garlic, onion, grains, sweeteners and legumes. alcohol caffeine dairy products things that are good to eat are: fibrous foods: so things like fruits and vegetables. i...
