Parenting is a 24/7 job, especially when you are a stay at home parent. Through sickness and health you have to be their for them and that includes when you are in pain. My daughter is almost a year old and I now have a lot of experience of parenting through pain, I will admit I was nervous at first but since then I have learned ways to manage and still be the best mother possible. When I feel my pain increase to a dangerous level indicating that I might not be able to walk the next day I prepare my daughter‘s food and everything she’ll need for the day and put it on the end of my bed so that if I can’t walk I can still care for her the best way I can. Because pain killers don’t work for me if I just have cramps I will curl up on the couch and turn on the television for her and let her roam the house only getting up if she needs me or wants me. I am partially lucky because being around kids knowing I have to look after them puts a mental block on the pain so that I have to focus
